Articulated Dragon Egg – Silk Gold to Teal, 65 mm

This little dragon egg is one of those things people pick up and don't put down. It's printed as a single articulated piece, so the scales twist and spiral around each other. Give the top a gentle pull and a twist and the whole egg unwinds into a flexible, wriggly spiral, then twist it back and it settles into a neat egg again.

We printed it in silk dual-colour filament, so it has a soft metallic shine that fades from warm copper-gold at the top through to teal-green at the base. Every egg blends a little differently, which we reckon is part of the charm.
